I had some paintings in a group show called Hello Stranger, on at the Pharmacy of Stories in east London a couple weeks ago. Its a really lovely gallery/laboratory run by Tina Bueno and there’s an amazing one-person show called [Wonderful, Common and Precious Life ]on at the moment by a japanese artist called Hase- go and see it!!

I’ve been making these paintings for the NHS, as part of a residency at the Nuffield Orthopedic centre, Oxford, where I’ve been documenting different patients orthopedic operations and post-surgical care. They will form part of a permanent exhibition at the NOC along with a number of drawings I made, sometime in late 2012.

I’ve just spent last week staying in the model village of Selworthy, in the Holnicote Estate, Somerset, painting this mural (which is housed in Selworthy Visitor Centre and Shop) for the National Trust. Its a really incredibly beautiful part of West Exmoor originally owned by the Acland family… Amazing vistas, swiss-chalet style farmhouses, the highest point on Exmoor- Dunkery Beacon and so much english vernacular architecture! wow!! go visit!!!
